UCAS deadline: Monday 15 January

If you're applying to university, make sure that your UCAS application is in by 6pm on Monday.

Remember, you also need your teacher or tutor to complete the reference section of the form, so if your application isn't in already, you'll need to get in touch with them to make sure they can do this on time.

If you have finished your application already, it's worth double-checking that it has been sent to UCAS. You can do this by logging in to your Track account: you should see the message 'Your application has been sent to UCAS and will be processed shortly'.

Some art and design courses have a deadline of 24 March, giving you another couple of months to put the finishing touches on your portfolio – but make sure you check the specific courses you are applying for, as some have the usual January deadline.
