  • In Vermont (USA), women must obtain written permission from their husbands to wear false teeth.
  • In Alaska it is forbidden to push a moose out of a plane in motion.
  • In Massachussetts, mourners at a wake may eat no more than three sandwiches.
  • In Kentucky, it is illegal to carry a concealed weapon more than six-feet long.
  • In California, animals are banned from mating publicly within 1,500 feet of a tavern, school, or place of worship.
  • In Wyoming, it is illegal to wear a hat that obstructs people’s view in a public theatre or place of amusement.
  • In Virginia, it is illegal to bring a pig into a church before Easter Sunday.
  • Washington state - all motor vehicles must be preceded by a man carrying a red flag (daytime) or a red lantern (nighttime) fifty feet in front of said vehicle.
  • Iowa, a man with a moustache may never kiss a woman in public, and kisses may last for no more than five minutes.
  • In Louisiana, biting someone with your natural teeth is 'simple assault', while biting someone with your false teeth is 'aggravated assault'.
