Do you have a Bright Voice?

Jan 25, 2012

Bright Voices logoWe’re looking for volunteers to create content for Bright Knowledge and make sure we’re answering the important questions.

Our Bright Voices project will give 10 young people the chance to have their say and spread the word about Brightside and Bright Knowledge.

As a volunteer Bright Voices ambassador you’ll play a pivotal role in Brightside’s work supporting young people aged 14-25 into education and employment across the UK. Working alongside other members of the team and a dedicated Brightside coordinator, you will:

  • produce content for Bright Knowledge, such as written articles, videos or audio
  • help to shape Brightside’s message
  • make sure that we reach the young people who need our help

No previous media or PR experience is necessary, but great ideas and the energy and enthusiasm to make them happen are essential. In return, you’ll get a full training programme, a permanent platform for your work to be published online, new skills for your CV and the satisfaction of using your initiative and imagination to inspire other young people’s ambitions and achievements.

To apply, you need to:

  • be aged 16-24
  • be able to travel to London for training (expenses will be covered)
  • be able to spare a few hours each week between February and July 2012 to produce online content and plan and deliver a focus group
